Weather we go up, or stay down, what ares do you think need improving, personally I think a right winger and a couple of strikers are a must.
A centre back, with Williams now mid thirties how long has he got left, especially with his injury.
And a centre mid, also apllies to Evans, but, he's not quite as old as Williams
This is what i think.

.......Brezovan/Smith
Smith...Ifil...Huh???...Huh???
Huh???...Peacock...Evans...Zauboob
...........Huh???...Huh???

Corr will likely be staying, and I don't see much reason to question the places of Vincent or Nicholas (in the squad anyway). Right wing and a new striker look to be the main priorities.

need a proper shake up sturrock style.

it's been obvious that he isn't really happy with the group of players  he's got and at times almost felt like he didn't really know what to do about it (after barnet). the loans gave us a bit of a facelift but i can't help thinking it's quite temporary and they might struggle to sustain a place in league 1 let alone consolidate.

wouldn't really want to see the back of brez, peacock, ifil or zaaboub mind.

i think vincent's looked ok at center back, would'nt complain with him and ifil playing in the middle next season. Still not sure about nicho though, he never fills me with confidence.

I think its fairley obvious we need a goalscorer, but their arent many around at the moment, so we may have to make do with what we have. Dont think Corr will be the answer though...

Someone too replace pook. He runs around and tackles, but his distribution is shit. Good squad player at this level, but nothing else. Not entirely convinced about peacock playing center mid either, especially IF we do get promoted.

But most of all, a proper decent right winger.

An out-and-out goalscorer is a must. I hear Luton Town have someone fitting that descripton?

Graham Coughlin and Steve Adams to sign from Wednesday.

Brezovan/Smith

Smith Coughlin ifil Vincent

Roberts Evans Adams Zaboob

Parkin ?

Get rid of the following, whether they're out of contract or not just take them out the back and shoot them.

Whalley
Brown
Roberts
Shakes
Noubissie (what the fuck was the point in signimg him?)
Pook
Holgate
Wells
Caton

That leaves us with.

GK: Smith, Brezovan
RB: Smith, ?
LB: Nicholas, Vincent
CB: Ifil, Williams, ?, ?
RM: ?
LM: Zaaboub, ?
CM: Peacock, Evans, Weston, ?
CF: Sturrock, ?, ?, ?

I'd like to see us sign Corr, we need a decent right winger and an out-and-out goalscorer.

right back (we only have one)
centre back (Westwood & Partridge are only on loan)
right winger (we dont have one)
right winger (we still dont have one)
creative central midfielder (bar Weston who seems to be on his way we dont have one)
creative central midfielder (as above)
striker (with Cock now a midfield and Roberts now a winger we only have Sturrock as a striker? we need some more)
striker (still need strikers for depth but I think Corr will be here next season)

A striker with raw pace to burn,  someone like a Leon Knight for example.

Sturrock likes to play a direct style of football.  We still lack a pacey striker who we can use as an outlet ball.

Agree Stefpol, some lightening pace-  aking to that of Ndah, Invincible or Sabin - but with goalscoring instinct, and ability.  I know they are hard to come by, but I'd tkae a raw pacy player that we could coach a bit, there's nothign like the excitement of a massively quick player running at a defence or leading a lightening counter attack.

Leon Knight struggles to get into the starting XI for Franchise. I'm only speculating, but you've got ask yourself why is this the case? Although Dongs fans would say it's because of the amazing McLeod and Platt partnership.

Leon Knight = Trouble.

Side Note: How much do you want bet that Sam Parkin will score against us next season if we go up!?!

I wouldn't bank on Evans too much for next season. This season is looking highly unlikely as well.

Had a chance to ask him how his training was going, It had been ok but all went wrong a few days ago. Wouldn't go into it any further. Wasn't at all happy, in fact sounded totally pissed off!!
