I think he's a cheap option and good cover for right wing (and right back if needed).
How many times have we moaned about lack of squad depth - imagine the almighty Roberts get injured (please!), who would play right wing in the next match?

He'll never play for us again.
He should take up a career as a dancer, he'd be far better at that.

Oops I meant Right Wing....
Point is that we've never had any squad depth and have been quick to jettison the players who don't make the first team squad. But then 3 months later we're scratching around for a loanee to cover a position where someone has been injured and we have no cover... Just because someone is not playing in the first team at the moment, doesn't mean that they are not a useful part of the squad.
Just imagine the current squad without the loanees given the current suspensions! We'd be struggling for a defensive line of any sorts....

I think its a bit harsh, there is defo room for improvement, as there is with every town player, i think with some crossing practice he could be a good right winger.

yeah, but if he has serious aspirations as pro-football you'd think he'd spend a couple of extra hours each day on the training pitch practising!

His first touch is dreadful. His crossing has not improved.
