Rhys training with Swindon - he is building up his fitness after he picked up an injury pre-season - hopefully will impress PDC and earn a contract
Could solve our keeper problems

Rhys Evans of old was an ok keeper however he is well past his sell by date now. I'd rather we started with Mark Scott than sign Rhys Evans

FORMER Swindon goalkeeper Rhys Evans is currently training with the Robins, but is unlikely to be offered a permanent deal.
Evans, who played for Town for three years from 2003, has been without a club since leaving Southend in the summer.
He was training with the Roots Hall side last week but hooked up with Town this week, prompting speculation the club could be interested in the 29-year-old
However, boss Paolo Di Canio confirmed to the Advertiser today that Evans is at the club solely to maintain fitness, while helping Town with their training drills. Sounds like thats a BIG no to me. |
