Bennett wants everyone to dress up as golfers for Saturdays game, but he is at work and can't post anything.

Let him know your thoughts here, and i'll pass them on.

I have a lovely sky blue, pink and yellow wilson number!  it'd clash with my town shirt though

Unless someone has golfer gear which would fit me, I sincerely doubt it.

Football is a distant third behind golf and cricket for me Sam (although I may rethink that when I'm having the 9.40 am train Stella in a couple of days...

Golf is good when the Ryder cup is on. The same as Tennis is good when Wimbledon is on. The rest of the year hardly any one watches it.

It's only because you can fit a set of clubs in your Beemer.

I don't really enjoy watching golf on TV. Playing on the other hand is a totally different experince. Most rounds involve at least three beers - what other sport can you actively drink alcohol while playing - snooker and darts don't count!

However, I may well park myself in front of the TV on Sunday to watch the final round of the Masters at Augusta.

Our boy David Howell was one off the lead at the end of the first round

I still think Woods or Mickelson will win though.

Viullage cricket's got to be the best for that  Cheesy
Field for 40 overs (or so), eat a lush tea (quality of tea may vary!) and then sit and drink a few. Top saturday afternoon that is, so long as you forget the bit where you make an arse of yourself by being an incompetant batsman
