anyone remember the away day at watford in the fa cup around 89-90??
we won 3-2 and remember everyone singing that loving feeling by the rightous brothers.
we packed their away end and it was a great day out.

that must have been the game.i thought we won as we taunted their fans big time that day.remember some of them getting rtather irrate.maybe we got a late equaliser or something?
 it was a good day out nonetheless

After selling Jan Fjørtoft for a ridiculous £1.3 million at the end of the 1994/95 season, McMahon tried to appease the fans by telling them he had signed a marvellous left back for £340,000 from Newcastle.

In truth, Drysdale had never played a game for Newcastle, and it soon became apparent why - he was certainly one of the worst players of the last twenty years - often more a threat to our own goal when attacking than that of the opposition. He made just 42 league appearances for Swindon before being released from his contract.
