apparently jimi hendrix named himself after the oasis once when he was a roadie, or something like that.

I used to take my youngest to mother and toddler swimming at the Oasis......it was ace, loads of stand out nipples,  stretch marks and unshaven fanny lines. Tongue

Pervs paradise....of course I was only doing it to teach my lad to swim.

There used to only be one other father doing it......Tommy Jones.

Haven't a clue, not been there since about 1990. My fondest memory was the razor blades lodged in the sidewinder  Sad  cunts.

Went to this on Thursday and thought it was excellent. First time i have been to a gig at the oasis and actually thought it was a good venue. Although it got very hot, but you get that at most venues.

Only really knew Chelsea Dagger before going but I thought they were quality and have since downloaded the album. Definately one of the better gigs i have been too.

Bloke at work went to this and said it was shite, he said the acoustics in the Oasis were awful which sums up why we need a decent gig venue built in Swindon.

I was due to go but a) couldn't get the night off of work and b) sooner get my £20 back.

Accoustics will never be great in a sports hall but where I was stood it was fine! I thought they were great and they really seemed glad to be playing a small gig and really got into it!

I don't see how you can call them shite based on Thrusday unless you don't like the music, in which case you probably shouldn't be there!
