Right, the 2007 Crew shirt has been released. Now for the bad news; if I order it from MLS Shop direct, its $79.99 plus $19.99 for name and number, which frankly IMHO is a rip-off.
I've had a look on World Soccer Shop, they seem to be advertising the shirts for around $65 (plus about $20 for name and number), which is still expensive but a tad more reasonable. Problem is they only have last years shirt advertised on there, so I'm going to shoot them an e-mail asking when they expect the 07 shirt to be available, costs etc.
I'll check on lead times as well - MLS Gear were quoting 2-4 weeks, which means I really need to order NLT 15 April (as I'm away for a couple of weeks late April). Not sure about WSS.
More info as it becomes available fellas.

Me: Quick enquiry. When do you expect to get the new 2007 Columbus Crew shirts in stock?
Bint: What is the product number?
Me: No idea, its not on your website. Thats why I called to ask you when you expect them. The one advertised on your website is a different design to the 2007 shirt advertised on MLS Gear.
Bint: Well we don't have it then.
Me: Do you expect to get any in stock?
Bint: Do you have a product number?
Me: Never mind, thanks for your lack of help, have a nice day....
I'm therefore none the wiser

You might be lucky to find a 'Soccer' (grrrrrr) store in NY. That may be your best bet. I've never seen a normal football shirt in a sports store here. There is a Soccer Store in Dayton actually, I may have to pop down there later today  |
