So with Summer fast approaching....I need an air conditioning unit for work. A decent wall mounted one with remote. How much do these beauties cost and can anyone recommend a company who install?

Do you want a split or one of these portable jobbies ? A decent make split (Daikin)would cost about £3000 to install depending on your heat load and the size of the room,if you want a portable unit then i would expect to pay up to £1000 for a good model. And make sure that it has got a reversable heat pump for the winter

You can grab a portable air conditioning unit for £150 from b & q, not sure how good they are.

I personally will be opening my window, cant wait for the eye candy at ground level in the summer on Vic Hill
