Bob Holt stated that an offer has been received from the Consortium and that negotiations would continue along with discussions with another party as well (words to that effect anyway!)

Imagine the uproar if the club turn down BP's offer! Protests will soar dramatically.

Another party?? are they in Bowdens head like the ground plans, expect by claiming another party they may be attempting to get a higher price.  Oh well nothing can take the shine off the fact that Bill has responded to the critics by 'putting up'    Clap

given bob holt's record when ad-libbing, the board have obviously realised it's best that he reads from a script.

Shocked Fantastic news.

Obviousy there is a long way to go in the consortium proving to the board that they can take the club forward. I only hope the board treat the bid with the respect it deserves rather than simply move on to the next round of stalling.
