PS There's a unification bout on wednesday, Unofficial Champs of Scotland v the FIFA World Cup holders Italy.

How I'd love a point from that!

Well if it means we come back with a point (or more) I'll be over the moon!!  Can't see it happening though, a repeat of the Ukraine match is more likely.

where the ref basically gave the game to Ukraine with a dodgy pen and the sending off i think it was Pressley. Tomorrow game is on BBC 2 found out today. Taping it while i am at work.

I think Walter needs to take a bit of the blame there, we went there on a high from the France game and offered nothing up front, gave them too much respect as on the whole the Ukraine were gash.

Dodgy pen and dodgy sending off though.  That's life.

I think it'll be close, maybe 1-0 to Italy?

I don't fancy our chances, spawny Italians will come out on top, like you say we'll go too defensively minded.  2 maybe 3 nil I'd say.

Although I am notoriously cautious when it comes to Scotland away matches.  At Hampden anything could happen, abroad only bad things happen, whihc would explain our poor WC and Euro form.
