he also needs to try to stopp fancy tricks on our own 3rd. and then try it again 5 min later when he failed the first time.

that said, his footwork today was quite tidy at times.

Thing that pissed me off, was that the Lincoln player did exactly the same and got a free kick for it. Needless booking aswell, stupid thing to do really. Played very well though, even the Lincoln fans thought he was decent.

T'was a pathetic booking. I reckon Sturrock will fine him for that.

Indeed OST - sillyness in the extreme, he had a case to be frustrated, but the booking was stupid, fine to follow I suspect.  On Corr, his struggle to find his feet at previous clubs is slightly reminiscent of Parkin - he'll never be a premiership player, but IMHO he looks handy for this level and would be happy in League One too.  It certainly looks like Sturrock has decided to win ugly for the rest of the season - using Lukas or Peacock up top with Corr - its gonna be a physical batering for any opposition team now.  I think with the new signings and form of Zaboub, Brown and Shakes will be lucky to wear the shirt again,  even in two minutes both James and Grimes looked like they had something to offer too

Yes, Grimey looked as promising as anyone can when they're only on for the last two minutes. I didn't really notice James, I'll have to look at the video again for that. I might have got him mixed up with Weston Oops

Winning ugly suits me fine. I just hope Lukas' injury is not too bad because that front two with Peacock making runs from midfield can definitely get us promoted.

Hopefully they've finally realised that if you get the ball into the box regularly you will score goals. Not exactly rocket science but there you go :?

I thought that Roberts had his best game for ages as well, he  needs to carry on playing consistently now though in that  position if he is to have any future at stfc.

I though Corr showed exatly what we had been missing though...someone to hold the ball up properly and put it away !

I knew Roberts would play well. Someone needs to convince him that every match is being screened live on SKY, or that he'll be crowned worlds best chav or have a car park named after him etc etc in order to give him  that all important pre-match ego-motivation

Roberts definitely had a good game and as somebody said before, we looked like our old selves.

There was a bit of passion and serious belief that we could do well. Maybe it is because we finally have a bit of competition for places?

After yesterdays results automatic promotion seems a lot closer than it did last week, but I'm still scared that the Walsall game could be crucial

I really hope that come Walsall places are sorted and it don't come down to us needing to beat them to go up automatically.

Let's hope places are either sorted or both teams need only a point to go up automatically
