yeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhawwwwwwwwwwwwww. zaboob was a class apart, lukas started well but faded, peacock did well in the middle spreading th ball about, pook played shit, j.smith did worse and roberts looked threatning. on paper this is our last tricky game before walsall, and hopefully this is the start of a run to see us go up automaticaly Beers
We played as a real team and yet you still have to knock players who contributed.  Get real!  If all eleven players had played magnificently and we had won 6-0 there would still have been knockers, somepeople are never satisfied.  But the game, and watching it, is all about opinions. :boring:

we won on tele that's the main thing  Cheesy

i felt town were the better team once they got going first half, the defending was poor for the first goal but much improved after that.

Just one thing to moan about....Can Ifil just clear the fucking ball instead of taking 2 or 3 touches thus getting himself into trouble.

Other than that i thought we played well.

Agree with Spuddy abaout Ifil, adn the way the first 10 minutes went it looked like another STFC horror show was on the cards for our backline. But fair play to the lads they started playing football and we looked like a decent side. Lukas and Zaboob looked dangerous and Roberts did a good job imo.

Pook was poor going forward but put himself about when defending which helped the defence a lot. I also thought Corr looked decent and on the whole Ifil had a decent game. Just needs to learn to hoof more appropriately!

I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't win the below but I think they all have their 'tricky' elements

Shrewsbury: Won 2 and drawn 3 of their last 5 away games
Torquay: Will be pretty much playing for survival when they meet us.
Bristol Rovers: Don't need to say why this will be tough
Walsall: Lost the fewest games in the league this season and conceded the fewest goals*
Rochdale: Won 5 and drawn 3 of their last 8.

*excluding today's match

Beers  Beers

Get the fuck in, a great three points.

Brilliant day in The Merlin as well. Fred got too pissed and fucked off home early, I think it's called 'pussy whipped'/

Great result. Real squeaky bum stuff after their second, especially when Jack Smith seemed to have ran himself into the ground thus unable to defend! A win and 3 goals from open play, marvellous. Thought Corr looked handy though time will tell.

Dongs are beating Walsall, I'm not sure if that is good or bad. Depends if we win our game in hand I suppose.

Can't decide how I want that match to end....Any result has its positives and negatives for Town really

I watched the game in Bedminster, Bristol - and for purely selfish reasons it was great that we performaned pretty well on the whole.

It's always fun being the only one in a pub celebrating!
