ah, yes you are quite right....why we wanted a proven lower league goal scorer who Sturrock has worked with before because we've got Christian fucking Roberts.
Graham is just want we need, surely we're a better prospect than Tor fucking quay!

Plus the fact that he is an ex Torquay player adds to it a bit, he scored 47 goals in 120 games for them last time so I think that makes him quite prolific at this level.

Turned us down perhaps?
I cant see it tho ... I guess he and Sturrock have "history"
Upon further investigation it appears that Sturrock didnt rate him

This might explain : -
"In a week that saw Owls boss Paul Sturrock punch with both hands, first firing the ever unreliable Adam Proulock and next giving Graham a public bashing following the strikers £350,000 move from Wigan Athletic that has yielded no goals.
"We have had a chat and I have told him that he has got to start turning people's heads,'' said Sturrock. "I have given him every opportunity and now it is up to him to grasp the nettle.
"The jury is out big-time as far as the fan base is concerned and it is easy to say that a goal will turn his season – but I need more than that.
"His confidence is round his ankles and his confidence might all of a sudden cost him his place, we can make all the excuses but, at the end of the day, we are not getting the standards I expect from him.
"He was brought in to be a mainstay of this team and has got nowhere near the standards he can achieve - he has to change.''
Strong words indeed, but only a few years ago Graham was playing in a team that couldn’t afford to lose – or they’d be out of the league."
Taken from Sheff Wed.com - I believe he just got worse ....

He was a legend down there before he went up north. They're facing relegation, he can help them out short term, bang a few in and get a decent move in the summer, everybody's happy....except us
