Difficult one as it guarntees the club some sort of income (however big or small) for the next 3 years and it don't give them a big lump to waste now

yeah, he's said why they havent joined...he has given the same rubbish excuses and all the managers seem to be changing their mind...a likely story
Ohh we have a game in hand....which we will lose.....if we do win, we'll move up to third, fucking brilliant....3/4 weeks ago winning our game in hand would have put us 1 points off top spot and above Walsall.
He may not be a bad manager, but he's doing a terrible job with us. We're getting worse and sliding down the table.
...but...lets not get on his back at all......after all we will all accept 4th division football again next season....its not like we were ever top or comfortably in the automatic spots
It's all doom and gloom with you. We might finish 3rd? We might even finish 2nd if the team can pull together.....Thus meaning an automatic spot.... doom and gloom, wake up....we're slipping out of the promotion race in division fucking four can it get any worse we might finish 3rd, we might finish 2nd. We might finish 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th or even 19th. Whats your point? We're getting worse and fading away....therefore we're more likely to go down the league than up. Meh that's just your opinion. We shall see come the end of the season.

the fact we're getting worse and losing games is just my opinion? No but it is your opinion that you think we will lose to Rochdale and then slip down the table and stay in the 4th division..... Like i said, wait and see....

I don't go to many games as you know, but have we played well yet under Sturrock?? I have seen us play Wycombe at home and Barnet away, we were ok against Wycombe and awful at Barnet.
It is dissapointing really as he pissed the league with Plymouth at this level.

But bob wasnt that with is own team that he assembled,he inherited this one. Exactly. Hopefully he can bring in at least a couple of the 5 loanees he wants. The team desperatly needs fresh faces who are up for it. We've missed Paul Evans a hell of a lot, as we have Williams, so hopefully Sturrock can look to bring in a player in the mould of Evans (I realise that is easier said than done, but we shall see...).

the fact we're getting worse and losing games is just my opinion? Spot On! Apart from Walsall Away & Carlise Home (Sturrocks first game) we have rarely played well under Sturrock, i can see us going out in the play offs to be honest. That's not being a doom and gloom merchant that's simply being a realist. I can also see this so called Striker in on loan falling through next week.

When was the last time we scored a goal from open play? when sam parkin played for us The actual answer is last week, but you are hinting at a valid point. Grimsby have shipped 60 goals so far this season. Okay they've been on a good run but teams pushing for promotion shuold be able to work a way around that. As much as I hate to cave in, I have to agree that Sturrock now NEEDS to bring in some kind of attacking threat either in midfield or up front to create/score goals. Otherwise it will be the play-offs and what happens there is anybody's guess (Yes I do know we are JUST outside auto promotion, but I'm struggling how to see us making it)

This has been a season-long issue.

I don't recall us playing well under Wise either, just a lot of lucky results and narrow wins. When we came away with 3 points it was easy to forget how crap the performance was
