Yeah, yeah, he may have said he was bringing in new faces before, and those new faces have not arrived, but he's said why they havent arrived.....Which is fair enough.
Just because we lost today, doesnt make him a bad manager niether! We have a game in hand don't forget and three points against Rochdale will see us move up into 3rd and everyone would have forgot about todays game!

He may not be a bad manager, but he's doing a terrible job with us. We're getting worse and sliding down the table. ...but...lets not get on his back at all......after all we will all accept 4th division football again next season....its not like we were ever top or comfortably in the automatic spots |

Isn't there a limit on how many loan players you can play, isn't it 4 in a matchday squad with only 3 on the pitch at the same time so if he is talking 5 like it sounded then we won't be able to play them all as we already have 2 at the club or does Timlin not count as he is a long term ?
To be fair to Sturrock what ever you think of Lucas going it does sound like he has got a good deal and has handled the negotiations well from what he said (cash over 3 years, same if he makes certain amount of appreances and a big sell clause)

I thought Parkin had a clause in his contract which meant he could be sold if a club came in with £400,000. Not happy that a club like Everton have been given 3 years to find perhaps half a million!

We might finish 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th or even 19th. Whats your point? We're getting worse and fading away....therefore we're more likely to go down the league than up. |

Of course its doom and gloom Sturrock took a half decent team with a good morale and basically drained their confidence and fucked it up.It seems to me he took all the profesional touches that Wise introduced and changed it alll back to the "Ron Manager" style of things.Sturrocks a cunt. |
