back page of today's (saturday's) adver could not be better timed: power says he's willing to pay over the odds, just as soon as the board give him a justifiable valuation of the club.
"i think the message is for the club to tell us what it's worth, let's examine the books, the debts, and the assets and the like"
"for example, if the club is worth £4million and they can show me that in black and white i will give them more than £4million. i'm not looking for a free ticket from anyone. tell us what you want?".

on bill's health:
"i'm feeling very positive. i had an operation to deal with stomach injuries a couple of weeks ago. it's no exageration to say i went to bed one night afterwards feeling 107 and woke up feeling 21. i've another operation to come on my arm but it's encouraging".
