Because he is targeting players that are good enough to play in L1, i.e. premier reserve or Championship players of course they won't fancy dropping all the way to L2, he should be targetting players that can do a job at this level and get us out of this division and go back for his targets in the summer when hopefully we will be playing at a higher level.

exactly - surely if he's only targetting loan players, then they just need to be good enough to get us out of league 2!?
surely some mid table championship and league 1 sides would happily let squad players go out and get involved in a promotion fight...
