If they want to scrap the draw then they might aswell  just say you get no points for a draw for BOTH teams. At least they will go for it then. With the chance of penalties you still have teams playing out for the shootout and nicking the win.

I mean goaless draws though

Surely this will be closely followed by the new law allowing forward passing out of hand along with specialist defensive and offensive line-ups being used in rotation compared to the team in possession?

When the U.S. introduced the no-draw ruling in the 1970's it led them to be totally isolated from FIFA - and too bloody right. Franz Beckenbauer and Rodney Marsh both loved the rule - but they'll say anything for a the almighty $$$$.

I knew something like this was going to be announced after filling out a football league questionnaire the other week (there was some ridiculous questions).

I'm sure enough uproar will prevent them from introducing the rule.

I think it's an ace idea, would mean that there would be some excitement at the end of a 0-0 draw. Would make the game more attacking towards the end as teams wouldn't want it to go on to penalties.

They should go for a first to ten, an idea I had whilst sitting in the savoy earlier.

I agree thats just plain silly. I could understand maybe just playing an extra 20 mins, similar to overtime they play in NHL Ice Hockey but if its still a draw it should stay a draw. That said, i think its best to just leave the game as it is.
