FORMER Crystal Palace youngster Michael Kamara will be on trial for Swindon Town reserves tonight at the County Ground.

The young centre back will be part of a strong reserves outfit entertaining their Cheltenham counterparts, having been released from the Championship side last week.

Kamara, from Sierra Leone, was previously playing for Conference side Cambridge United.

Bit worrying because he was playing for cambridge before and they're struggling in the conference. Will he be any good?

Think that may have been as a youngster, he's just completed his 2nd year scholarship at Palace so don’t think he’d have played much before they snapped him up.  No mention of him on Soccerbase anyway.

According to postings an another site, he is a commanding centre back who is very prone to give penalties away!  Sounds familiar, sorry Jerel!

A striker would be very nice. But we also need another defender as cover.

It does make you wonder Rich. I'm not paying too much attention to this search for loan players at the moment.  When we sign someone I'll be interested.

Have to agree, my sources told me that we could be signing a striker from Ipswich, but now that Alan Lee is suspended and Franny Jeffers injured nothing will happen on that front!

My sources may be the same as Fatbury's though, so don't take too much notice of it!

Let's not get carried away with a trialist, he is a second year scholar about to be released by Crystal Palace, if he wanted cover like that he only needs to look in the youth team!

Curtis Woodhouse on non-contract terms at Rubbish & Dustbins is worth a look.

Despite leaving Hull to become a pro-boxer at the end of last season he's back playing football again and has been on cracking form for the bins on his return.

Chester are having a look and despite the boxing blip he's certainly of a standard for League two.

2-1 down in the reserve game at home to Cheltenham. Blair scored for us.
