That the commom man can no longer associate with premiership football players?
I have just finished reading the sunday papers and quite frankly i am shocked and pretty fuckin annoyed with the likes of John fuckin Terry and Frank cunting Lampard throwing their toys out of the pram over contract terms.
Both want 10 year deals, both are asking for £130k a week....yes you read it right £130k a fuckin week  , with increments as the contracts move forward. Its just not fuckin right!!!!
Now please dont come back at me saying its a short career and all that malarky, that no longer washes with me
Lampard apparently can leave in the summer for £8 million squid so he has basically got chelski over a barrell.
Something needs to be done about this and i reckon that the only way to do anything is for fifa to introduce wage spending cap on all clubs across the board with salary ceilings per player.
I have no problem with fella's earning a decent living out of the game, but the ammounts being discussed are just plain fuckin absurd and its about time something was done about it.
And if both of them DO fuck off abroad :negsy: , they can take their slags..sorry wags with them. Cunts.
 Rant over.....for now.

While that amount of money is extortionate, they do happen to be 2 of Englands finest players. All the top clubs want the worlds best, and if you want the best you have to pay for it.

I have more of a problem with the mediocre players in the premiership of which there are hundreds who are also getting payed extortionate wages.

But of course you are totally correct. Those wages are totally obscene and an offense to humanity and people who really do the important jobs in the world.

it's a good rant with some valid points millom, but i have absolutely no sympathy at all for chelsea.

it is, however, about time that the fans turned on these players: it's the wages that these people are being paid that are pushing ticket prices up and up.

Nor me mate, abramovic(sp) and his squillions are killing the game.
But he aint the only one. The Lerners, the Glazers, The 2 new kids on the block at  liverpool, et-al are all equally responsible imo.
Spence....I couldnt give a monkeys chuff if they are 2 of englands finest mate. What they are asking for is fuckin outrageous.
What i am saying is that fifa need to introduce the caps and ceilings before things finally spiral out of all control, at ALL clubs, worldwide.  Apart from anything, surely it is in the best interests of football if everyone was on a level, competitive playing field.
What happens when these zillionaires get tired of their latest hobbies and fuck off? Or if sky decide long term that the money they pay for rights is no longer a viable proposition?(UNlikely i know, but what if?)And remember the disaster that was itv digital with Jonny Vegas amd his bum chum monkey? The end of that deal could quite easily have killed the game outside of the premiership.
The fans in this country are being ripped of and get a fuckin raw deal big-time and can no longer identify with their idols.
Ultimately, i can see this killing the game.

I read in a paper today that FIFA are considering a ceiling of £100,000 a week.  I think that is far too much myself, never mind 130k!!  Money and greed will kill the game we all love, if the board of STFC don't get there first!! :soap:
