I'd expect 70 to be enough, unless the Shrews go on some amazing run with their games in hand.

I think we should be more concerned with making the automatic promotion places though, and right now, despite some sub-standard performances, we're well placed.

75 will almost definatly seal it. 3 more wins. shouldn't be a problem. 7 more for automatic. should be a problem looking at our away games

Last season Lincoln finished 7th on 66 points......that was a bit unusual, its normally about 70 minimum....

If we can win our remaining home games, and pick up a couple of wins on the road, that should seal an auto spot.  Sounds easy doesn't it?  The problem is we just don't look like a side that can win games, even when we do....still being reliant on getting a bit lucky with a pen or something.

We should win all our home games, only Walsall are a team that worry me in that they could come here and win.

We're so unpredictable whose to say who we'll beat away, I fancy us for Hereford and Rovers because we'll take loads.

I still think we'll do it.

Taking loads doesn't necessarily help us....ie Barnet.

Although we're more or less safe for the PO's.....a team like Peterborough who are getting on a roll, with new manager and new players, I'd have down as favourites at this stage.

Can you really see us failing to pick up 7 or less points with 30-odd to play for Reg?

We're not THAT bad.

I wouldn't be at all confident if we ended up in the play offs.

Our form has been very erratic and there would be teams who would be going into them on the back of a good run.

I'd say for auto we need something like 5 wins from 10 games....of which 6 are away.  Problem is that after looking hard to beat on the road, we've got 1 point from the last 3 games.

If we end up in the Play-Offs we won't win it!! We don't score enough goals, simple as that. And plus if we get someone like MK we would stand no chance as they got 3 really decent strikers that score goals. When was the last time our strikers scored, oh yeah 24th Jan.

yeah, the odds of us beating free scoring MK is very far fetched.

We've only beaten them TWICE this season

as I said to Rich, 7 wins and 2 draws from 10 should see us up automatic comfortably and now relying on the final day against Walsall
