which 2 dv?
agree about the average, if you mean average lower league player that is

....and I do...

like I said, i dont think he's as good as fatbury thinks he is.

Average lower league clogger and nothing more.

Wise & King.....say what you want about King but he knew talent when he saw it....and Wise seemed to know what he was doing. Sturrocks transfer deals have left me far from convinced and I know I go on about it....but Monkhouse is a good player....

I know why Sturrock let him go though. He was awful in the Salisbury and Wycombe (paint) games.

But I think everyone wishes he'd got rid of Brown instead now.

....but....after the Salisbury game he went on loan to Hartlepool played about 6 games bloody well and chipped in with a few goals and loads of assists.

Surely Sturrock had someone up there watching him and taking note of his performances.

Utter rubbish.

I think Hopper might have some use as a centre back. Striker no. A big part of his game is the physical battle, but he will find things much tougher against the likes of 7ft Stockport than he does the 17 year olds in youth football.

yeah he is a very physical player but once he gets into his stride he isnt slow! Lukas isnt quicker at all, Lukas is the same type of player, as for Hopper as a centre back? he is a excellent finisher and would be wasted at centre back, i have seen him play alot for the reserves and has had no problems physically against bigger defenders

he always looked decent to me....and his goal scoring record is pretty decent....but I think the first thing anyone noticed about him, is his speed or lack there of...

People moan about the decision to put Peacock at the back then decide a young striker with a good finish would be better of in defence?!

"25% football, 80% bollocks" just about sums that up IMO

With all due respect we will have to agree to disagree then. I dont go to reserve games, but I think that Lukas is fairly pacy. I still think Luke Hopper is too slow to get a team start. But if you are Luke Hopper, or his dad or something dont be put off! After all Teddy Sheringham was never fast and the best players at youth level often dont do so well at senior level.

The three players I really like the look of are Lukas, Chris Allen and Kurt Hammond (who is only 15 and I think will come on strong). Still like Caton, but you have to worry about him.

Callum Kennedy has looked pretty handy when I've seen him at left back.

Scott Doe has also impressed
