So I'm driving into work this morning in Bristol, happily minding my own business.
If you know Bristol, I was crossing the Airbus roundabout by Filton. I drive into this bit where two lanes slip into one after the roundabout. Some cunt in the right lane decides he wants in first so practically barges his car in so I do what any good motorist would do - honk so he knows I'm there.
50 yards later the idiot stops, puts on his handbrake and gets out of his car, comes up to the window and starts bellowing. Now, I'd have got out, but I was worried I'd give ... wait for it ... the old codger a heart attack. Must have been pushing 60.
Anyway, I stay in my car and shout at him to get back in his and to stop making an arse of himself in the middle of a busy street, so he does.
As he does I (probably stupidly) get out and let him know what I think of him before he drives off. Mind you, my bellowing was much more sensible - I stayed by my car!! Haha!
Down the road a little there's a bus lane so I think chuff this, I'll get around him so he can't stop again. I'm worried for the old guy's health, y'know. So, anyway, I whizz around him and happily drive off.
But ... two minutes later he's back behind me looking angry. He's on his phone! I presume, by the fact he's flashing his lights so I SEE he's on the phone, he's calling the old bill. God knows what for. Threatning shouting? I mean, he's the one that came up to my window.
Then he drives off the other way.
What a first class cunt. Just 'cos I honked him.
Let's hope plod visit later so I can report him for using his phone while driving.

Hahaha. Phoning plod from your car whilst driving, brilliant. An easy 3 points and £60 for them.

Anyone who gets out of their car *just* because someone honks has got a screw loose. I think he had assumed I'd honked because I was mad at him - when I'd actually honked to warm him I was there. Perhaps he needs to drive abroad for a bit and find out the proper use of a horn. There are too many drivers in this country who are too uptight.

When you see someone behind you on the phone it is then that you should practice your emergency stop!

Damn right arriba - surely 2 lanes + 2 options = 1 left turn lane + 1 straight on lane? I always go in the right hand lane to go straight under the bridge - it makes sense to me, and have to 'cut-up' other people to go on.

Similar thing happened to me and my mate once on the way back from college. Mr I own the road because I have a Land Rover decided to cut my mate up. My mate slams on the brakes, honks the horn which is met by the reply of the horn of the Land Rover and a clear two fingers held up at us two. Now at this stage I was finding it mildly amusing, I don't know why, but my friend was notorius for road rage back then honked back and gave him the wanker sign.
At this point (approaching the large roundabout near Halfords/Debenhams area) the Land Rover dude puts the breaks on, turns off the engine and gets out of the car. Walks up to the car we're in and starts shouting. By this time I don't think I'm helping much because I've got a huge grin on my face but in hindsight it was alittle scary. So we just sit there looking at him while he mouths off about getting out of the car for a fight before he goes back to his Land Rover and drives off.

minding my own business walking into work today, past a bit of car park on the side of the road, some twat in a VW passat reverses out over the pavement and misses me by about a foot then stops in the middle of the path. I had to walk round the front of his car giving one of my best Paddington bear hard stares, although he didn't notice because he was on his phone. Probably just as well too, as he was huge - at least I can still walk and he is still a twat; didn't look the most capable of doing two things at once, so maybe with luck the next time he'll slip off the clutch and go straight into a wall.
