I'm not so sure. I know he speaks a load of shit, but I'm almost sure that he's one of the reasons the message boards have been subjected to police attention, which I think as much as a bastard move it may be, has all the characteristics of a lawyer's work.
But hey ho, that's speculation and just a view. It could be Willie Carson that sent the OB round to someone's house. 'Sending the OB round' is slightly wide of the mark imho. More like he or someone else made a complaint to OB in an effort to try and scare the shit out of the moderators or web hosts in the hope that the site would be closed down. His plan to supress freedom of stfc speech failed. Bowden, is a cock. I THINK it could of been maverick i bet he was gutted when he couldnt get on that site.Im not saying it was him of course but those are just my thoughts

Late April last season - forgive if I'm wrong, but wasn't relegation all but a mathematical certainty. I guess the powers that be had rather hoped promotion would be similarly assured this time round. I suspect match day tickets will go up but seasons will be good value on renewals and early bird buys - they can then extend teh early bird period if we stay down, an shorten it if we've gone up.

But are season tickets really value for money? When if you miss just 2 games it doesnt make them worth it. For me they are scandalously high, and should be half the price they are. Germany and Italy have season tickets which work out half the price of match tickets. I doubt il ever have a season ticket again. If they increase match prices it is another disaster for STFC.

Spencer - I got an early bird season ticket this season which was £339 (Nationwide/Arkells) for 23 games (about £14.75 per game).
If you buy all your tickets in advance it works out at £18 per ticket which is £342 for only 19 games (so you can miss 4 and you would still save by buying a season ticket). If you buy on the day then it is £20 per ticket which is then £340 for just 17 games (so you can miss 6 and still save by buying a full season ticket).
Seems the season ticket works for me costwise - plus I can always offer my ticket to someone else if I can't make it (hasn't happened this season), and if I need playoff tickets etc I get first claim.

Me too Fred - being an "out of towner" it is too much hassle getting in before a game to sort tickets etc. Plus I get to sit in the same place every week and most of the people around me have learned to tolerate me (on a good week)! Imagine getting tickets in different places each week - I could end up next to some of my best buddies like Reg!!

OK, its better than I gave it credit for. But I still dont think its worth it and I still think thats overpriced. Its a lot of money to pay out all at once. I still think the club should reward and value hardcore fans a lot lot more. We are the most 'taken for granted' and 'taken advantage of' fans in Europe! Plus the club has a lot of power of you. They can withdraw your season ticket. I like moving around. As for the first claim on tickets, cant see it being an issue this time. L2 is a lot more low key than League 1. Bet Bristol Rovers sells out, but only after theyve been on general sale for a week. I take your point. But they dont work for me. I liked the card ones, but the books are crap, and I sometimes forgot it.

Fair enough Spence, I can't argue with the pricing compared to Europe. But then it is the same with so many things like petrol etc. compared to Europe.
I also agree about the old card ones, fitted in a wallet, so I knew if I had my wallet I was ok. Haven't forgotten the book yet, but then my lad always reminds me before we leave home!

Season tickets should get boycotted if this bunch of idiots are still in charge.
I can feel a campaign coming on.

I want to buy a season ticket. It's convenient & saves money. But I don't trust the Board not to run with the money. I refuse to put anything in their pockets until I absolutely have to.
