Apologies! Wink  between semi-decent and Makalele I intended to insert 'League two'  I have no belief at all that he is fit to lace the boots of the chelsea lot, he'd miss place a lace and have someone's eye out.  But in that mould of breaking the play up Pook perhaps could be employed in that role in the lower leagues.  I meant to put the whole thing in a League two context, ie OK relative to the high wuality footballers we've seen this season.

OK mattboy, your forgiven

I know what you meant though, just as good a reason as any to make some more jibes at a player I dislike thats all!

No disrespect to him, just if I was boss, he wouldn't make my team full stop. Obviously my own personal opinion though so don't take that wrong.

What about Roberts/Brown etc? personally don't like Brown because of his big time charlie attitude, Roberts is frustrating because he has all the talent in the world but doesn't use it.

Pook I simply don't rate give it couple of years and he will be at supermarine, plenty of effort but hes not a holding midfielder, hes not an attacking midfield and hes not a playmaker so what exactly is he?

roberts is his own worst enemy, and brown has done himself no favours either.but both are far more talented than pook.
he on the other hand gives everything when he plays and is a box to box midfielder.alot of his work goes unnoticed, ie the dirty work and graft.
wise and poyet did a great job with pooky and he had some great performances under them.now he has good games and bad but i dont think he is anywhere near as bad as some say he is.i'd pick him as his effort is without question. some others should take a leaf out of his book

Ooooh will he end up working in a gents outfitters like Dunn and Co, and turn out for Yeovil.....suits you sir.

Unfortunately gentleman's outfiters have been swept aside in the Gadarene stampede to uniformity that is the denim jean.

So no chance of Pooky becoming like Batty.
