bloc party aren't ground breaking, but they're a bit different and i think they're quite original. you can hear their influences in their music quite clearly, but you know it's not a rip off. plus kele is great.

Definitely one of the best bands for a while . They remind me of Joy Division, At the drive-in, the Pixies and a bit of Fugazi but all on diferent songs and they seem to effortlessly blend them all to create what ever they want and it's always quality.
There aren't many bands like them around at the moment.

I was disappointed by Bloc Party... Not really absorbed all of their songs yet. The one I've heard a couple of times sounds very Smiths/Morrissey. |
