Its getting stupid now, they have gone, rightly or wrongly, lets forget it and get behind teh team.

No one is happy but lets get up with what we have.

In a skipper type shout 'COME ON LADS, HEADS UP, FOCUS, STICK TOGETHER, THE PAST IS THE PAST SO START FROM HERE, MINI LEAGUE START AGAIN 0-0'

indeed, its what we need at the moment.

I play mondays at Dorcan and we were bottom of teh league, all good players at times but didnt play at our best together and heads dropped.  We gave up totally but tonight we put in some great tackles, chased everything and scored a last minute goal to draw 3-3.  Walking off teh pitch teh bloke who runs it admitted they are 4th in the league not 2nd bottom as he told us.  Never loved a draw so much.

What im getting at is the town need to have some spirit and start chasing everything and not giving up.

COME ON

I'd slit DV's wrists. Much more sensible.

I'm sure the players of Swindon Town F.C. will take inspiration from your story.

I think they should all watch Escape To Victory when they are not playing as well

it was sarcasm to be honest....

as for the glass, im a REALIST....so the glass is obviously both half full and half empty as you need to two halves to make a whole!

So if one have of the glass is empty, the other half must be full.

As for 6 a side stories.

We're 6 points clear at the top with 4 games left to play (2pts per win)....

We've played 22 won 20 drawn 1 and lost 1. Scored 204 conceded 75....

We're as good as champions.

The moral of the story is we are good! (and when players cant be arsed to turn up we replace them!)

Ah but if you have two halves of a glass that's a whole glass, but you can only have half of glass worth's of what's in it. You can't have a whole glass of beer, if there is only half a glass of beer in it. So the glass is either half full of beer or half empty. Likewise, it is either half full of air, or half empty.

Now don't get me wrong, I love my air, but not necessarily in glass. I'd much prefer the glass to contain more beer, because beer is so damn good. Besides, air is all around us so I don't need it in a glass.

I had to post some sort of crap, this forum's way too footy orientated at the moment

whilst I can see your point of view, its a case of whats done is done....but personally I still fail to see why it was done.

It wasnt just these two and in some aspect its less about the quality and more about the quantitly.

CCP was no world beater amazing player, but going into what should/could be a potential vital promotion push with a whole 2 centre backs is asking for trouble. Unfortunate that just over a month later Williams is out for the season but thats why you have a squad thats why you have back up players that very rarely play.

Monkhouse, I rated as a decent player and still do....

You will get injuries and suspensions in a season....its going to happen, you dont know who/how or when but it happens. Trimming your sqaud significantly in January isnt a good idea....and its starting to show imo. Bar Evans we've been fairly lucky with injuries and suspensions.....the moment we get a smaller squad they all come at once! sods law I guess.
