Out of contract this summer
J Smith
Vincent
Ifil
Williams
Brown
Roberts
Shakes
Nicholas
Noubissie
Evans
Pook
Brownlie
Sturrock
Weston
Holgate
Wells

On loan
Brezovan
Westwood
Timlin

Out of contract Summer 2008
Zaaboub
Whalley
Peacock

Out of contract Summer 2009
Jutkiewicz
Smith

Caton - YTS expired(?)

So that's five players contracted beyond the end of this season, one of whom will never play for us again. That's more worrying than I thought.

Looking at the players out of contract, I'd only keep J Smith, Ifil, Williams and Weston. Perhaps give Evans a short-term deal to see how his injuries are.

Lots of rebuilding next season, let's hope that if the incumbent board are still in place they don't try to cut the budget even further.

Out of contract this summer
J Smith - keep
Vincent - keep
Ifil - keep
Williams - keep
Evans - keep, short term
Sturrock - keep, short term - would like to see Sturrock Jr after having a pre-season under his belt
Weston - keep

the rest, bye!

Perish the thought that Newbury still runs the club next season, because cuts will be guaranteed....the sole reason for a reasonably competitive squad at the start of the season was BP's investment.

I guess it all depends if we go up or not.

If we don't go up - I think more will be offered deals.

If we do go up - I think Sturrock will release most of them and bring in his own.

He's struggled with transfers because of what division we're in.

Spot on, if we are still in this crap league he will struggle to bring in decent players, let's just hope we secure promotion then PS can have a right good sort out! Soapy Tit Wank  Soapy Tit Wank
