We've got 27 registered squad players (i.e. they have a squad number)
Seven of those are injured, suspended, out on loan or frozen out (Brezovan, Ifil, Williams, Whalley, Evans, Holgate, Caton)
We've basically got 20 players for the next few games... Brownlie? Or is he at Chest permanently? |

Bad form and a loss of confidence is one thing. Injuries to Evans and Williams have not helped because we have no strength in depth.
But unfathomable formations and a lack of players - well ones able to come on and change things for a plan B must be put on Sturrocks shoulders. His decisions to get rid of players, his game plans.
I have every confidence that with the right players (his players) he will get us up. But these aren't his players and they don't seem to be able to play his way.

I've been one of Sturrocks staunchest supporters, but that game sounded like a triumph for tactical ineptitude..
If the commentators couldn't work out the formation(s) the team were supposed to be adopting, how the fuck were the players supposed to?
I wonder how much of this dip in form can be linked with the talks (Or lack of) concerning new contracts?
What a fucking disappointment............
