Theres plenty of them out there.  Basically, no matter how many times you watch them, they make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
I'll get the ball rolling

Beckhams free kick against Greece.  The moment couldn't have been anymore perfect - needed an equaliser to qualify for the Word Cup finals, virtually the last kick of the game, Beckham had played a brilliant game and deserved the goal.  I remember watching it down the pub, everyone was going mental.

Geoff Hurt's winner against Germany - I wasn't even born, but it's still great to watch.  Completing a hatrick in the last minute to win the World Cup for your country against Germany.  Surely there is nothing in the world more special than that?

Out of the Swindon videos I could find, this one stuck out the most.  Coming back from 2-0 down to 3-2 in the last 15 minutes is always something to remember

(not very good quality)
It would be rude not to put this one in.  This was just before I really started supporting Swindon.  I just hope that I will be able to witness a game like this one in my lifetime

Steven Gerrard vs West Ham in the cup final - "Take a bow son!"

Man Utd Vs bayern Munich.  As much as I love to hate Man Utd, I can't help but love those last few minutes, and the cream on the cake of watching Germans crying

That day at Wembley was the best day of my life!

I was celebrating promotion at half time, then bricking myself when they came back.

Chalky White is a legend.

Wembley: The noise Craig Maskell's goal makes when it goes in still has that effect on me.

I swear it echoed around the stadium.

I've got no links or owt but I would say that not much could beat being at Parkhead just before a big European game and the whole crowd are holding their scarves aloft and singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. Same goes for Anfield I guess.

Similarly, being crammed in like sardines at the CG back in the mid '80's for various midweek games and 'Lou Macari's red and white army' bouncing backwards and forwards between the Shrivvy Road and Town End was pretty special also.

I've always regretted the fact that I didn't go to Wembley. Had a cricket committment and didnt feel that I could let the team down. I recorded it and watched it in its entirity later that evening not knowing the score. Bloody superb !

All those mentioned were fantastic. Some of them were before my time though or i was too young to appreciate fully. In more recent times Danny Invincibiles goal against Peterborough in the last home game of the season which in the end kept us up was very special. I just remember going mental and running on the pitch.

Whenever Man U or Chelsea fans i know rip me for supporting Swindon I always tell them, you can sit at home or in the pub watching your team win the league every year and winning in European cups, but you will never be a true football fan. You will never understand the feeling of 2 minutes in to injury time facing relegation and one of the best volleys ever hitting the top corner and experiencing that buzz. That is what football is all about. Its moments like that, that make the many bad years worth while!

I was there although to young to fully appreciate it all. But that noise it made when it cracked off the post i will remember for ever!!!

That, and me stood on my chair at the end of the game waving my flag singing 'We are going up' and the miserable git behind telling me to stop waving my flag.

Did it actually make that 'smack' noise at the time or have we seen it so many times since on video when obviously ITV had a microphone right in the goal that that's influenced our recollection of the actual event?

Hmmmmm?

Interesting idea don't you think?

We'll never know the answer of course

Dont ruin the dream, there was no microphone, just pure ball against post.

On another note, do you remember the first leg of the semi finals against Tranmere. The opening minutes was possibly the best in history. Going 3-0 up so quick was pure amazing. Steve Vickers at fault for all 3 (with help from a cheeky bobble in front of the keeper for the 2nd), he must have been suicidal at half time.

That was one of the worst feelings I have had in my life, felt sick to my guts after that match - total deflation, only matched by the play-offs.

it was more a hollow ting when it hit the post rather than a smack.
i was 14 at the time and i remember it if it was yesterday.

i also remember the 1990 final as if it was yesterday Crying
