our fans are amazingly fickle too

i should have put 'some of' at the front of the original post.
but i believe it.
maybe the team were terrible last night.but we were damn unlucky not to win on saturday and we will bounce back.
we need to back the team and not be over critical imo.its not as if we aint pushing for honours is it?anyone would think we were on the brink of relegation after reading some of the things said on forums in the last 24 hours

I understand we're still in the mix but if we carry on like this we will end up scraping a play off place and after Brighton a few years back i don't want to go through that again.

I don't think it's possible to be too critical of that pile of old tripe we had to endure last night!

As far as I'm concerned if play fantastically well I will be the first to say 'well done'. Likewise, if they play like a bunch twats I will slate them.

That is not fickle as far as I am concerned. I have always thought this club has bloody good, loyal support, all things considered.

We wernt unlucky on saturday, we didnt finish our chances. It was poor finishing not luck.

We still deserved to win the game though as we were that dominant in the 1st half.

Spot On!

If they play well or even put up some fight and lose i'll be willing to take defeat on the chin but losing without any sort of battle just wont do.

Theres not many fans who have had their loyalties tested as much as we have in the last 10 years.

That taken into account were not too bad.

I think the team's fickle. Sometimes they don't want to turn up and play....and people pay good money for that shite.

I'm quite glad I couldn't go now!!!

I think it is great to see we were so well supported, and even though the home attendance was laughable it says a lot that we outnumbered them.

As far slagging off players, being fickle etc, i think it boils down to praise the good and slate the bad. Sometimes perhaps people take it too far one way or another and come across as being fickle
