Football isnt just about silky skills.

What about the goals, the atmosphere, the new grounds and places, the rivalries, the people you've got something in common with.

I go because its still worth it and I still enjoy it, even when it is bad its still the only team I care about. I was on a train at 11am on a tuesday with a lager in my hand yesterday morning, who else can do that? 95% of the country was at work. If you think footballs about 90 minutes and a few flicks and tricks thats your loss. Youre the 'sky sports generation' mug there matey. Doesnt mean I cant moan about Aaron cunt Brown.

If everyone thought the same way as you there wouldnt be an STFC to get back on the bandwagon of. If you think thats sanctimonious then fuck you, its true. You'd have to fuck off to Reading and all of their fans who didnt turn up 10 years ago, not that you'd seem too bothered about it.

Fuck me. Is this armchair supporters united?

Thats an ace post  Clap

Boeta and Aroundthefur just dont get it.

All things are relative. STFC's current players are generally not very good in the grand scheme of things, I acccept that and I expect 95% of people on here would.

But we have every right to expect them to beat Barnet as we clearly have a better side than they do (see league table). Which is what makes it all the more agravating we we lose through lack of effort.

If the only reason for going to football was to be entertained by the game, then no one would go to the majority of games from Championship down (Even some of the top flight play shite football).

I can count the number of times I've been 'entertained' by attractive football from Swindon this season on one hand(And I don't need all 4 fingers and a thumb!)

There's a myriad of reasons why I go and of course I'd like to see a great game, but in league 2 that's very rare.

Swindon are my Team, for better or worse.

People have been moaning about the lack of loyalty in football, seems like there's fans who suffer from that affliction too....

As somebody mentioned before, this time last week people were calling for Weston and Lukas to be back in the team and for Pook to be dropped.

So far in this thread I have read several complaints about Weston and Lukas and have seen somebody complaining about the decision to drop Pook. It may not necessarily be the same people but it really pisses me off when people just slag off something because it was somebody else who made it happen
