I have no arguement to add, but i think the tone of every one Boeta's posts makes him sound like a grade A prick.

That is all.

That would be because he is a Grade A prick.

Boeta speaks like a boy who has never never had a job, and never valued a living.

League Two is a very ordinary standard of professional sport to watch. In fact, I have real doubts whether League Two should even be professional but that's a different argument. The majority of players in this league aren't really very good and therefore you are usually paying to watch dross.

The "I only want to see effort" argument is a joke. If I pay to watch sport I want to watch skill, not some headless chickens run about. I have watched Swindon twice this season and might go once again. In the past I have had season tickets and followed the team away from home regularly but I have no interest in watching League Two standard football. If the club ever sorts itself out and gets back to a decent level I might watch on a regular basis.

You guys aren't martyrs for the Swindon Town cause so don't come over all sanctimonious for fuck's sake. You do understand you are not forced to pay and watch Swindon play? Some of you make it sound like some warped sense of duty. If it doesn't provide you with enjoyment then go and find something else to do that does. Otherwise accept that all sporting players/teams have ups and downs and cannot perform well every game/all season.

The team is 4th in the table and has a very good chance of automatic promotion. Just chill out and enjoy it.

Yeah, supporting is about backing the team, not getting on their back when they perform badly as certain individuals on this message board seem to doing after a few under-par results.

If you think the quality of football on offer isn't worth the money it costs to watch, then don't go, yeah. Makes sense really I reckon.

The alternative is buy over-priced tickets to watch ordinary sportsmen and then whinge and moan when they don't perform brilliantly all the time.

Football isnt just about silky skills.

What about the goals, the atmosphere, the new grounds and places, the rivalries, the people you've got something in common with.

I go because its still worth it and I still enjoy it, even when it is bad its still the only team I care about. I was on a train at 11am on a tuesday with a lager in my hand yesterday morning, who else can do that? 95% of the country was at work. If you think footballs about 90 minutes and a few flicks and tricks thats your loss. Youre the 'sky sports generation' mug there matey. Doesnt mean I cant moan about Aaron cunt Brown.

If everyone thought the same way as you there wouldnt be an STFC to get back on the bandwagon of. If you think thats sanctimonious then fuck you, its true. You'd have to fuck off to Reading and all of their fans who didnt turn up 10 years ago, not that you'd seem too bothered about it.

Fuck me. Is this armchair supporters united?

If you watched Sky tv football and it suddenly decided to give a snowy picture for 60 mins of 90 you would kick up a fuss, no?

Oh and your point is irrelevant because this is a thread about one match. How are you supposed to know what they are going to play like before you buy your ticket?

If I want to watch a good game of football then I'd watch Arsenal on telly. I watch Swindon because I care passionately about the results, the club, the team, the players and I enjoy the feelings associated with those.

Yeah, what Spencer and Sonic said...

...although I agree more with what Spencer said cos it was more manly. Sonic went on about caring and having feelings for players which is frankly abit gay.
