Want the 2018 world cup! They've just fucking had it, I know Mexico had it in 70 and 86 but that was due to Colombia not being able to host it in 86.
I can't wait for the day when someone's got the bottle from splitting from fifa, they're all a bunch of old men in suits.
I think I'll start this split, once the STFC takeover is complete, that will be the new focus of the orange revolution!

Are you worried? England will get it.
The USA have more than adequate facilities to run the Tournamant - however all factors point to an England World Cup.

Rich I'm not really bothered who gets it but i do not think it would be fair to award the US another world cup. They shunned the sport for years, then as soon as they show an interest they get a world cup, and now they want another.
Fuck off Uncle Sam.

Sorry, but the US can put on one hell of a show. The stadia are fantastic too. There are no 'piss stinking shopping centres on the new side of town' in the US.
Anyway, what I saw on the news in Tampa yesterday was that they were pushing for 2022.

And the Franchise want to be one of the ost stadiums. According to the Adver of 2000....STFC were possibly going to host a WC game in the proposed 30,000 seater "Bradium" in 2006. Had to say despite much euphoria amongst Town fans I was a little sceptical.

NMH Not doubting that NMH, but they have had their turn for a while, there are many other countries who deserve the honour before the Amercians get it back again.

Rich I'm not really bothered who gets it but i do not think it would be fair to award the US another world cup. They shunned the sport for years, then as soon as they show an interest they get a world cup, and now they want another. That's fair enough. I do think a 2nd World Cup in the U.S. would have a longer, lasting effect in there than what happened in 1994. Now they have a FIFA recognised league (which will be 20 years old by then) and if the big names raise MLS profile then it could work for them... I can try and sell it but I want the Cup to go to England! If the U.S. got it, it would be because of the money it would generate.

I think it is a bit unfair for them to have it twice in such quick succession. Doesn't necessarily mean we have it here but that would be nice!!
