This game is also going down to the wire. Matty Hayden hit 181 N.O. Broke his big toe unlucky. Aussies made 346-5. NZ are currently 264-5 off 38.2 overs. Craig Mcmillan 114no off 88 balls. I am going with NZ for a white wash.

Why is Hayden breaking his toe unlucky?I think its highly amusing, just wish it was his jaw bone just to shut the foul mouthed conivct up for once!

Kiwis are 303-8 at the moment.

The Aussies could not be going in to this WC in worse form, NZ almost there now!!!

I love watching them lose!  Soapy Tit Wank

Wow.

I thought the Australians were nailed on to win this game. It was set out, the Kiwis rest the only two blokes they have who can bowl and the Australians get the confidence boost they needed ahead of the World Cup.

Of their 6 losses in 7 games this is by far the biggest, the most demoralising and the most important.

I'm actually stunned, Australia don't lose ODI series let alone lose a match with McMillan scoring a ton (that's just too funny for words) and with the opposition having no-one who provides any wicket-taking threat.

Congrats to New Zealand, a simply fantastic effort and one ODI cricket really needs to build excitement up ahead of the World Cup. I personally cannot wait.

If there's one team you never write off it's the Australians, but confidence wise there's a lot of them in a big rut right now.

whilst its funny that they are losing lets not forget NZ are in our World Cup group. we were two pretty even sides when we played in the CB series down under and i expect a tough game...

Brendon Mccullum six when NZ needed 7 to win was a wicked shot. Walked arcoss his stumps and flicked a yorker length delivery from Bracken which went into a full toss over fine leg about 10 rows into the crowd. Quality shot.

haven't seen the match and it sounds like a good un but cricket is meant to be fair contest between bat and ball. by all accounts this one was a bit special but there can be a limit to how many ODIs where teams rack up 300+ on featherbeds before they get a bit tedious
