Turin Brakes tonight in Lux. Only got their first (Ether Song) and current album (Dark on Fire) so I am hoping they play most of their tunes from those albums! You've missed an album there Mr Orange. The Optimist LP was their first album. Haven't heard it in years, but it's damn good. Mostly acoustic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Optimist_LPStarted a Turin Brakes cover band once, but our practices always turned into all night red wine, weed, and gran turismo sessions. Miss those days.

Went to see Wombats last night. Wasn't overly bothered but got a ticket for 10 Euro.
Was pretty raucous as I expected and they were ok live. I don't actually think their songs are any good though and not really sure why people like them that much!
Support act Sulivan were good though.

Im off to see The Enemy on Sunday in Coventry - should be mental but im driving :? Saw them supporting the Stereophonics last year, thought they were pretty good live. Should be a good atmosphere at Coventry, it's their home town.
