being the open-minded, well-balanced individual that i am, i've been entertaining the possibility that there genuinely is another investor.

and the only name i can come up with is st modwens: in five (?) years at the club this board has failed to get any serious external investment - excluding bill power - from anyone other than the stadium company, and considering the club's current precarious financial position it is undoubtably in their [st modwens] best interests for the current board to be able to remain in position [by paying the cva], as the board are willing to move away from sn1, and maximise any profits from blah blah blah...

thoughts anyone?

i read that st modwen's just got the rights to develop the old rover planet in brum - quite a big deal, i wonder if that means they have a lot more cash available at the moment ?

If it's who I think it is, then there is a potential investor but certainly nowhere near the scale of the Consortium's financial backing.

Perhaps more likely is that it's bollocks as Spencer says.

Not the person I'm thinking of. I could be on the wrong track, certainly wouldn't be the first time.
