Thought Timlin was quality first half.
Didn't do much in the second, but then who did?
If Sturrock wants to get rid of most of the players, why is he trying to tie them down with new contracts?

Has Weston upset Luggy ?
Is that why he won't play him ??

it took pook 1 minute to give away a dangerous freekick yesterday, and what about that shot in the secound half, at best he should be a benchwarmer.

Sturrock is basically slagging him off today .. saying "he has an idea of playing central midfield that is well away from how he sees central midfielders playing"
Im sorry Mr Sturrock but Curtis Weston IS and REMAINS (Paul Evans apart!) our BEST central midfielder .. the fact is that when he plays he wins tackles - wins headers - shows flair - maybe lacks goals but as he isnt getting a run of games he can hardly shine.
Its my belief as he is a top earner Sturrock is just looking to offload one of our better players who may command a fee to "please" the board - much as he did with Monky.
THE BRING BACK CURTIS CAMPAIGN BEGINS TODAY!

Oh dear oh dear Fatbury. I'm going to ignore the board related jibberish there.
He's lost form, possibly as his "mentor" wise left. But he was one of the worst at Barnet and thats saying something.
I agree that when hes on his game hes a good player and deserves to be in the side. but he needs to start showing his potential in training and reserve games otherwise he simply dosnt deserve to be in the team on merit currently.

Main thing about Curtis is he gives us something different I would be far more inclined to play him at home and Pook or Noubisse away.
At home when we need to have a go at teams his running terrifies the opposition and none of our centre mid's even come close to the attacking threat he provides. Where as away when our defence need bit more protection you can play 2 more negative players Timlin and either Pook or Noubisse.
Think Sturrock probably doesn't like him as he attacks too much but at home I don't think thats a weakness we need to get back to putting the opposition on the back foot.

what sturrock appears to be saying to me anyway, is he doesnt play like a central midfielder....more like a winger.
So I wouldnt be surprised to see him start wide right

I think he'll join the whalley group to be honest. Hope not, but I can't see a future for him after Sturrock rant. But he's not the only player not playing to their position.
