Register an account with skybet, and you are given 500 poker points.  These points are used to play in free roll tournaments.  Every Wenesday there is a £1000 free roll game, which costs 500 poker points.

Alternatively, tonight and every night at 10pm there is a £500 free roll that costs 300 points, or a £100 free roll at 8pm that costs 100 points.

I played in the 500 point freeroll yesterday and came 16th- which paid out £10.  Just been playing on the cash tables with the money, and now i have £60 in my account.  There are a load of noobs using the site, so if you play resonably tight, you should be quids in

For some silly reason SkyBet won't let me log in (ring the premium rate number it says). They keep sending me shit through the post though.

Dunno if I'll bother with the freeroll but I might go and crush the no limit tables as I have an account anyway. Took 3rd in a donkament just now, would have had a good shot at winning if it wasn't for this beat at the final table, guy who won this went on to win. Luckbox.

Just trying it, the software is pretty bad, you can't multitable easily and it's really slow but the players are equally bad, seen some terrible play. I like the hotometer thing because the way it ranks the hole cards is way off

Ouch. Built my stack up to 3/1/4 buyins on one table. I wonder how long they let you play the beginners tables for. I wish pokerstars was this soft.

Ahahah I got AA all in preflop against TT and 88 , TT had only a £3.50 stack but 88 had nearly £10 and I had him covered.

TT flopped quads but I won the side pot so made about £1 on the hand, would have been an £11 profit if not for the suckout but wow I'll take that all in every time.

The site is so slow though, probably because a lot of people don't even know how to play.

This sounds ace. After destroying my Ultimate bet account this week ($250 - $10), with bad beats, bad moves and bad moods, this could make a refreshing change.

I love new poker rooms when my confidence is low. It either gets lower, or you feel like a seasoned pro after an hour.

Naive question probably but how are you sure the games are legit - no bots playing etc?

If someone could make a decent bot that was actually a winning player which is very difficult, then they wouldn't bother playing the small stakes games they'd play $5000 buyin no limit and higher.

Either there are no bots that play small stakes which seems to be the case or they are all so terrible it doesn't matter.

*Apparently* bots will almost always fold to a re-raise, so if you see that happening a lot then maybe you're on a table with one.

My last two games have been pretty shambolic, which has come from not playing nowhere near as regular as I did last year. However, I think this needs to be fought through and i'm going to be playing a few games this weekend, rather than going out getting hammered.
