my boredom has led me to the skysports spanish football section, and reading the experts bit, a man utd fan has emailed in a question about whether Ronaldo will go to spain...

RONALDO ON HIS WAY?
Hi Guillem, I'm a big fan of Man Utd and very worried about Cristiano Ronaldo's situation. Do you think he will move to Barca or Real Madrid? While Xavi, who might be involved in a swap deal, would he suit our style of play? Regards, Sakhile Khnayile, RSA

another fine manchester name there. fucking joke of a football club.

Leggett's right, I'd hate for anybody with a funny name to support Swindon. Luckily nearly everybody's just some sort of variety on James.

This Man Utd bashing's getting a bit boring, especially as you really can't single out Man Utd for being popular world wide.

I know more Liverpool and Arsenal fans (and Chelsea fansfor that matter) who live in Swindon, my local's full of them.

If you're gonna have a go have a go at the whole of the top flight in general.  They all benefit from cross country support, well apart from Wigan who don't really have much support at all really.

There seems to be more Liverpool fans in Swindon than any other Premiership side these days.

Since the CL Final in Istanbul i think most people jumped onto the Merseyside bandwagon.  :?

I would like to have a go at the whole of the Premiership Abdul, thanks for the invitation. I hate the Premiership and I don't watch it. It was not a concious decision to not watch games, I have started watching a few this season but they just bore me and I stop watching after 5 minutes. It's all money, money, money, money in the Premiership and it sickens me. One day the bubble will burst though and I will love it.

Thank you.

I just don't understand the concept of living somwhere like....ooooh......ummmm.......Swindon for example and 'supporting' Liverpool or Man U or Chelsea or Newastle or Spurs or Man City or Arsenal or whoever and you've never even been to Liverpool or Manchester or Newcastle or London or wherever.

It's not what football is about as far as I'm concerned. :?

I agree but that's armchair football for you. That goes for "I support Swindon but Arsenal are my 'premiership' team"  type people :|
