If they do lose, it'd be nice to see them doing a lap of honour on Saturday.

When you consider that Newcastle probbaly spend 2 mill a year on youth development and we spend 20K....the boys have done well to take it to ET.

Exactly. I expect we would have got a hiding from Liverpool in the semis over too legs, probably too strong.

They gave the attendance as 2.300. When you consider the Arkells holds around 6000, and it was pretty much full, who's worked out the attendance ? Sandy Gray ?

Seriously, the officials were a joke. Lua Lua should've been sent off twice for pushing the referee. Their goalkeeper should've been sent off for a pro foul in the first minute...but the ref conveniently missed it.

The whole Newcastle team reminded me of spoilt children who didn't get their own way. They were whinging from the first minute to the last, and how their number 9 didn't get booked I will never though. i'm convinced the ref was his dad !!!

Coaching in petulance is a prerequisite of the wannabe Prem player.  I daresay the Geordies get detailed video analysis in the style of the likes of Bellamy, Bowyer and Dyer.

Their recent graduate Steven Taylor is showing considerable promise as a diver...his goalline handballs followed by the simulation of a British lancer speared by Zulu assegai at Rorke's Drift being a particular favourite.

His half turn with pike against the Scouse Franchise on Sat is also worthy of mention in despatches.
