this may sound really stupid, are you sure its the power and not just the screen being fucked?

I've had it before where the phone is on, but there is nothing on the screen and always thought my phone was dead till it rang while i thought it was dead! water damage...

ummm bet that doesnt help

Whits. Remove the battery then plug it in to the mains. If no white screen appears when you try and turn it on it is fucked

Apparently if you leave it to charge for a few hours it might work. It might be the battery completely lost charge

if it's got anywhere near water you might want to take the sim and battery out and leave it in the airing cupboard or something over night? could be that it's just got a bit of water in it.

On the brightside it was only a matter of time before the joystick stopped working anyway. My 750 is bloody hopeless!
