.. was any forumer just in there, sitting under the plasma screen watching Spurs v. Man U whilst wearing a Town shirt ?
If so, I was going to say hello on the way back from the bog after the game, but you'd legged it.

It's been ages since I've been in there, not a bad pub, although they did have a great habit of not putting the sound on for football games.

On that note, has was anybody on here:
a) in Sydney near Kings Cross, wearing their Town shirt having just had a kickabout late June last year (I was too embarrassed and wouldn't know what to say)
b) Did anybody give one of the workers on the Yellow Boat to the Yasawas in Fiji a Town shirt - I didn't see him, but my mate did. His camera battery had gone dead...so not sure if I believe him

Gutted I didn't see the guy on the yasawa flyer wearing a town top, it's always a great conversation starter.

Mexixo Red...when I've got enough money to buy surplus town tops for the sake of it, I will indeed spread It's almost a good enough reason to go back there...not that you really need any other reason - nicest people in the world. And i'll dole out Town tops with a few orange hats and take the pics

Having seen the Bristol thread, http://www.thetownend.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19263, thought I'd resurrect this one. And turn into a pathetic plea for companionship... Is anyone else in Southampton watching the game on Sunday and fancies meeting up for beers ? I was thinking the Terminal in Portswood, they are usually OK about putting games on if you ask nicely. Was planning on getting there about 1. (looks forward to forum filling up with "is anyone in X town watching game in Y pub" threads)

Would have thought you could go somewhere a bit more lively and get the game shown though - The Avondale wil probably be a good bet and it's cheaper. That's usually where I end up going to watch sport whenevr I'm visiting mates in Southampton.
