No point in CCP staying if he was that far down the pecking order. Good luck to him, he never let us down and I hop he comes back and proves his worth at Rochdale. Always seemed a solid enough player to me. What pecking order - Right back (Noubissie and Smith) Centre back (Williams, Ifil, Nico) but not if Nico's at left back - (Vincent and Nico) Need more cover at CB |

8 Out and 4 in isn't bad. We're League 2 and not making much money - we need to trim the fat. Hopefully we can then sign some more when we are in League 1 next year  |

Is there any position apart from in goal, that And King didn't play the lad? Good Centre back and was ideal cover for Williams/Ifil. Gutted to see him go.

That does leave us short of cover in the centre of defence though, addmittedly Nico can move over but he is not natural in that position, if Jerel or Adie get injured or suspended I think we have a problem.
I think CCP would have been a good backup player to cover for injuries

Looks like Rochdale got a bargain signing really, didn't have to pay anything for a quality player. Another mistake by Sturrock IMO.

get real, there was absolutely no chance of him ever breaking into the first team, and that's in division 4. we don't want to be here for more than a few more months, whereas rochdale have spent most of their history there so it's a good move for everyone.

Didn't see that coming but we've not been struggling without him.
He was one of the only members of staff (along with Diagouraga and Onuora) that applauded the fans after the Bristol City away match last season (City fans went on the pitch) and I always respected him for that.
Good luck to CCP - Good signing for Rochdale. Forgot about him. He was pretty decent I thought. He's on loan at Rotherham now, be interested to see how he gets on. Hmm. |
