Do we really need anyone new?

I know a few of you think we do.I dont think we do really,I know people say we need a clinical finisher but doesnt everyone?

I know people worry about  right back but we have smith and shakes could cover if need be and if its that bad we could loan someone.

Centre half we have williams,iffil,platt nicho and our trump card that only sturrock seems to mention peacock

right wing-shakes,roberts,weston if need be and even aaron brown has played on the right

I really cant see why we should have to go out and pay for players who will just offer us cover.This Squad not team has got us to second for a reason so why mess around with it?

I agree pretty much.

The only thing I'd like is an experienced centre back as I really don't want to see Ifil alongside Platt or Nicholas. We all remember last season's defending when Ifil didn't have a 'leader' alongside him.

Maybe sign that French kiddie as compeition for Smith at right-back.

A right back for cover, another right winger for backup and sign Sturrock junior..

That would do me until the end of the season.

Anyway, there's always loans so it isn't gut busting that we have cover for all positions in the squad.

I think we need a couple of good squad players. We don't need a striker I don't think. We've got 4 competing and scoring.

I think the positions of concern are right defence and right midfield.
We could also do with a whole new board

We've only got a squad of 21 and that includes a non-contract player, a youth 'keeper who has never played a senior game and a generally untried and untested young midfielder. That said, we've got good back-up pretty much everywhere if not depth.

In a word, yes.

We need cover for Smith (Stewart is too inexperienced).

We also need a centre-back and a goalscorer.
