So what do you reckon then, will it be a five minute job or a two hour marathan? All parties to leave after hostility? Or will peace be achieved? Will the board listen to Bill's offer?

Still think Kofi Annan should be there as a peacekeeper.

I suspect that the board may try to but Bill Power off today.

Clearly the board (not necessarily the majority shareholder) do not want to relinquish control of the club, there’s a vested interest at stake and being realistic a lot of them are going to end up losing their job if the consortium’s offer is ever accepted.

If I were in their position the priority is to remove Power and effectively kill the credibility of the consortium.  The omission of Mike Wilkes and the leading comments on the radio the other day lead me to suspect this could be their next move.

Return of his shareholding or perhaps an offer of a return plus a stake of the profits from any theoretical ‘stadium’ development?

I will try an keep an open mind about tings, but I suspect deep down that the meeting will be an expensive waste of time.

I hope I am wrong.

I'm sure that stfc will go along and want to discuss Bill's "shareholding" and then when it comes to discussing the takeover Mr Diamandis will tell Bill & Phil to forget the idea as he is not selling to anyone that has links to supporters.

Cue mass demonstrations on Sat after the game.

Bill and Phil will be there PM, fact!  (As OST says)

I was led to believe that lawyers and club reps will be there too.

Indeed DV perhaps the most pointless chant in football? I guess 'boycott the corporate activities of a sports marketing company' doesn't quite sound like as good a chant?
