I've heard alot of rumours about this and people saying "we are changing the badge back to the old one".
What is the truth regarding this, surely someone must know?

What is the truth regarding this, surely someone must know? A certain not very popular new Board member thinks it may improve his image amongst the fans, if a few cosmetic changes are introduced and he gets the credit. Fact of the matter is that the 'train badge" was only worn on shirts from 86/87, until the diamand was introduced in about 92.... Both the ST and the current badge have been on shirts longer.....but then again you wouldn't expect a Board membe rto know much about the club would you? |

The badge wont be changed next season. I now the club are looking at several designs (so may not be the old badge either) but this would be voted for by the fans I assume.

SORRY I know what you mean and i can understand you are angry. No offence but you wont get anywhere with those people, they just dont want to know, we all want the consortium to take over but i can honestly say i dont think it will happen, the board are not interested in talking to the consortium, you only have to listen to smarmes interview on the radio today to know that. You have to keep fighting but with this board they just will never talk to the consortium, they just wont walk away!! |

The last option would be to protest but as much as i would want to do it i reckon we would have to be careful.Imagine if we started protests and this coincided with a bad run of form that fucked up our season.I couldnt help but feel i could of been part of that |

If the product is crap, it's not improved by changing the packaging.
There are a million more important things to worry about at this club - the redesign of the badge is about 2,334,567th on the list.
I bet we'll pay out consultancy fees to *insert a Diamandis company* for the new designs as well.
More money out of the club. :|
