ah right ... no I don't live in the ward I represent ..... to be honest ... 4 years ago when I stood .. I never thought I would stand a chance in the ward I live in ... and besides it is the other ward that needs the representation ... not that I have been very successful ... took me TWO YEARS to get one .... yes one ..... not even two ... goalposts put up on the common .. this town sucks when it comes to any sense of community spirit ... which is why I may not stand again ... heads and brick walls

I recall a few years back doing a protest thing in Savernake against the proposal to dual the A345 through the Forests, and beyond Marlborough northwards to link to the M4.
Southwards it would link to the Andover roads.
Presumably Maverick you would be in favour of such a road? Any recent developments on this story.
Amazing isn't it how 2 such big *cough* STFC fans as Maverick and *cough* Blodwyn, can live near each other and have never met....

Personally Reg I would campaign happily for a lorry ban ..... they made such a big fuss and destroyed the landscape for the A34 .. the least they can do is encourage people to use it .. however at the minute we still have an overnight lorry park right in the centre of town!
Oh .... and as far as I know I have never seen Mike B at away games Reg ... have you? But I have seen plenty of other people I do know from Marlborough.
