Kooks soon aswell. BBC3 is where it's at tonight  Cool

Indeed, until 7 ages of rock at 9.30 which tonight is about REM and Nirvana. I have seen most of the other ones so am compelled to watch.

It's been a pretty interesting series. I think next week's will be my favourite of the lot though.

latitude festival looks quite good if you're into slightly more leftfield arts: arcade fire, damien rice, css, explosions in the sky... as well as comedy, poetry, and a strip-club-tent.

i think truck fest details get announced tomorrow too.

Truck fest, now that is a good festival

Just caught the end of the seven ages prog with Cobain and REM. It looked damned good.

Just watched Weller at Glastonbury via the magic red button.

Guess what?

He was FUCKING ace - FACT!

Just watching The Killers live now.

1 thing I noticed from the programme was that Nirvana's sound was largely based on The Pixies. I don't know any of their stuff, were they any good?

think they focused on teen spirit as the rip off, nirvana were massive fans of a band called the meat puppets at least kurt was.

i'm sure one hem appeared on the unplugged session.

nevermind does not date well, in utero is a far bettter album me feels which stands the test of time.

I didn't think I'd be bothered that I'm not there. I'm mega pissed off though. Curse my laziness on the registration thing.

Pretty much the same with me. Oh well. I'm going to start a band, make it big and get invited to play. That way I'm definitely going next year.

You could stand on stage slapping a seabass around. Would be a bit different.
