is a type 1 Hamstring tear. He will miss friday game against Australia at brisbane. He could be back for the two games next week. Flintoff will captain in his absence.

Had it in 1995, started light training again after about 2 weeks, played again in 4 mate

We shouldn't rely on Vaughan now... He'll never regain tip-top fitness. Great leader, great batsman on his day but the end is nigh for him in first class cricket.
